The principle and effect of these two procedures are very similar – the skin is supplied with various beneficial substances and minerals. However, the effect of biorevitalisation is much more intense, the composition of biorevitalisers usually includes hyaluronic acid, fewer procedures are needed to achieve the result, and their effect lasts longer.

The skin is anesthetized topically, then cleansed and disinfected. This is usually a painless procedure as ultra-small needles that inject very small amounts of hyaluronic acid are used. The duration of the procedure is 30-60 minutes.

You can expect slight redness and swelling immediately after bio-revitalization. Also, tiny bumps might be visible for a few days. All of these symptoms are transient and will resolve spontaneously within 2-4 days. If the treatment is during summertime, be sure to use sunscreen (SPF 50).
